Senior Insights Consultant (f/m/d) – Healthcare
Ipsos
Ipsos is one of the world’s largest research companies and currently the only one primarily managed by researchers, ranking as a #1 full-service research organization for four consecutive years. With over 75 different data-driven solutions, and presence in 90 markets, Ipsos brings together research, implementation, methodological, and subject-matter experts from around the world, combining thematic and technical experts to deliver top-quality research and insights. Ipsos Healthcare is the world's leading provider of quantitative and qualitative market research studies in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. The focus is on doctors, medical professionals, and, above all, patients. Our range of solutions is very diverse and covers traditional primary market research as well as scientific Real-World Evidence studies. In collaboration with our national and international clients, we conduct studies along the entire lifecycle of a healthcare product, from early demand and quality-of-life studies to projects for the preparation and accompaniment of product launches (including success measurements) and studies that help already launched products or approved preparations achieve greater success.
We are looking for a Senior Insights Consultant (f/m/d) for our Healthcare team at one of our locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Nuremberg or Munich.
Your role
- You will be part of a team managing a multi-national big tracking program, managing local clients and global stakeholders.
- After your onboarding time, you will be responsible for leading the project setup & design, the client conversations and the team (functionally) for one of the product categories.
- You accompany and manage quantitative market research projects from conception to delivery on a national and international level.
- You support the consulting of clients regarding project design and methodological questions.
- You independently create proposals and calculations for study designs.
- You handle the coordination of project phases and work closely with internal interfaces as well as external service providers.
- You analyze study results, create meaningful reports, and present the results confidently to clients.
- You actively participate in the creation of pitch presentations and the expansion of existing client relationships.
- You work cross-departmentally within Ipsos Germany and maintain close exchange with global and European healthcare teams.
Your profile
- You hold a university degree, preferably in business administration (focus on marketing/market research), social sciences, psychology, communication science, health science/public health, or a comparable field.
- You have 2–3 years of relevant experience in market research (institute or client side), ideally in healthcare, pharma, or medical technology.
- You have excellent knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, as well as strong understanding of advanced analytical techniques - but focus on recommending the right approaches and clearly explaining results, implications, and limitations to non-technical stakeholders rather than running analyses yourself.
- You demonstrate strong client management, communication, and storytelling skills, combined with analytical thinking and organizational strength.
- You are experienced in using modern project management tools and approaches.
- You are fluent in English; good level of German is preferred.
- You are open-minded, innovation-driven, and motivated to improve processes and efficiencies.
- You approach challenges with a proactive and confident mindset, navigating complex and unfamiliar situations effectively.
- You are a team player with flexibility and creativity.
- You have very good IT user skills, particularly in Office 365.
